A friend is off down that way to do a professional studies course. From what I gather, it's cheaper and easier going by rail. You simply go from Norwich - Nottingham - Cardiff.

Should get you there in 4 hrs or so.

Alternately you can go via Birmingham, which IIRC takes longer.

If you plan on making multiple trips get a rail card - save yourself a bundle. As for flying, I suppose the best thing is to ask at any local travel agent.
