I doubt money is a big deal

His current contract is £40m a year or so.

I don't think indycar drivers make anything like that, but I could be wrong.

The only team in F1 that would pay the same kind of salary would be Ferrari I suspect, but they've got their drivers for next season and why would Hamilton give up his Merc seat (which will be the best car again next season) for an uncompetitive Ferrari.
