Florian's accompanying twitter primer (in 130ish handy tweets) did a decent job of discussing ongoing transmission depending on how the vaccines act.

All interesting stuff. As you say, there's going to be an array of vaccines available - after the initial flurry for those most at risk I think some of the easier to distribute ones will come into their own.

I'm basically of the opinion that there'll be mass efforts to immunise the over 50s as far as possible and then mop up the rest of us with any surplus stuff they've got.

They've already said not to expect for kids to be immunised - though a few years down the line you could see that happening if there's still flare ups.

My hunch is that the Pfizer guy is right and that immunization would reduce the risks of you spreading it - but I'm not sure that it'd make passports make sense. The hygiene mask stuff will likely be with us for a good while yet (as it is through large swathes of the far East)
