I’m not totally convinced by that approach

I get what you’re saying, but I think we’ll still give chances away and they’ll still get a run at our defence even with Tettey in a holding role.

So the real effect of bringing him in is to make us a little less effective on the ball in a game where we are going to need to score more than once, at least!

I’d be all up for going with Tettey if it would actually make us more solid, I’m just not so sure it would.
