But that’s even more closely aligned to the reason politics is banned on here.

A bit of chit chat about a massive event in the US is fine, but you only have to look at the threads on here to see the posters it attracts and that it’s going to get silly / back to the same old tedious stuff.

I agree that there’s lots of interesting stuff to talk about in relation to it, but that’ll all get lost in a forest of complete and utter tosspottery.
