Well by slashing corporation tax to from 35% to 21% it..

Boosted the economy, created more jobs, made companies more competitive, products became cheaper and wages rose.

Also Business owners made more profit. Some re-invested back into their businesses others took their profit.

Either way you can't deny that the economy was rocketing.
