I spend (spent?) a fair amount of time in the US

I work with highly educated people. Many voted Trump. Why TAF would you vote for him?

Imagine the Queen dies. The UK opts for a president over a monarchy. The Tories propose a candidate that aligns with their view of the world, racist imbecile Jim Davidson.

Who do Labour pick as their candidate? A politician with extensive experience at the highest level. Tony Blair. Hang on a minute, a fair chunk of labour supporters would quite like to see Tony have a nasty accident with one of those steam powered traction engines. Entangled in the gearbox?

Hilary was arguably the most toxic choice for president. A large proportion of Democrats would not consider supporting her. That is why Trump won.

I really think (hope) this year will be different. Biden is not a great candidate but he isn't an outright hated candidate.

America deserves better.
