Sean Connery has had a bit of a free pass too-
"There's nothing particularly wrong with hitting a woman as long as you don't do as you'd hit a man'

There's always been something about him I found a bit unpleasant. Occasionally he came over like a bit of a bully in interviews, especially with young inexperienced interviewers.

Brilliant actor though. No doubt.
