after a bright start when greeno hits the bar with a goal kick (then turns to 'salute' the away fans) we go behind to a lucky goal from ex-scummer marcus stewart runs onto andy hughes' perfect through pass, rounds fleming twice (the 2nd time 'just for luck') before burying a low shot. green is slow to react, as he is still exchanging pleasantries with the away support.
clearly rattled, norwich defend deep for the next 80 mins, relying on last gasp tackles from shackell and doherty to keep the score down, until jason jarrett reminds nw what he's been missing by firing in an unstoppable 30 yard shot, after a mesmeric run by paul mckenna.
nw decides to bring mckenzie and earnshaw off the bench, but by then it's too late...
