You are taking a biased action based on the name on top of the CV. Therefore it would be conscious bias.

I am not disputing that there is discrimination in 2020 and racial prejudices. I know full well that people are judged based on the colour of their skin... because that is also what identity politics reinforces...

Look, if you can point me to a racist action or remark that has happened then I will stand there and protest against it. Racism is not ok no matter what race you are.

I will concede in recent history that black people have been at a disadvantage to white people in certain areas. Much the same as white people have been at a disadvantage to particular eastern ethnicity's.

A lot of it has to do with education and opportunity. That is why i am all for equality of opportunity, everyone should have the same equal and fair chance in life.

The reason i don't agree with equality of outcome (i.e hiring people based on their skin colour for diversity quaota's) is because it purely discriminates based on skin colour or ethnicity whereas we should be hiring based in skills, experiance & "charachter".

Do you agree with that?
