next door to Brownsea island is

Furzey Island , in the 90's BP drill a load of wells on the island the place was full of Red squirrels who used to nick your sarnies and anything else you had planned to eat , cute little guys so it was hard to get upset with them

Loads of Golden pheasants walking around as well
