EFL iFollow - is it OK now ?

So last Saturday, I paid my £10, then found that my ipad was too old to be able to download the ifollow app. But nearly everyone who reviewed the app said a new app was now in use, and it was hopeless. The old app having been much better, apparently. I can update my equipment, but is everyone still getting app problems ? I’d gladly pay £10 to watch a game, but not for a dose of frustration every matchday.
