Good post. Somewhere along the way watching individual star

players became more important to the football decision makers than watching a club succeed. I'd say let them go
and establish a salary cap on the teams that are left. Clubs would object to the drastic drop in TV money but that would be accompanied by a drastic drop in wage expense. Everybody spends the same so you have actual competition.
It's kind of the point of sports isn't it?
