i'm also a qualified coach...

and its clear to me that Worthy and his coaching team are failing in many areas at the moment.

1 - Training - the players are obviously not practicing the right things in the build up to games, on occasions they look like they don't know each other and would rather hoof the ball to get rid of it instead of looking for a short pass to a team-mate.

2 - Tactics - as both the Reading and Burnley games showed Worthy is not very tactically aware. Is he studying videos of the opposition, thier tactics and style of play before picking his team?

3 - Motivation - again its as if the players don't know each other. As the Greeno article you used earlier as an example shows, the players are unhappy, cna sense the fans are unhappy and appear to be disgruntled. It is Worthy and the coaching teams job to get the players fired up for games - at the moment he is failing to do this.

4 - Signings - if we are indeed waiting for the new players to bed in why has it taken so long? Surely the pre-season is used for bedidng in and getting to know your team-mates? I'm pretty sure that come January they should all know who they are playing with anyway. Plus if Worthy was signing the right players in the summer and then was spending time bedding them in why did he then have to cover his inadequacies (sp?) in this area by all the loan signings?
