I think that cm combo would get overrun too. Wouldn’t it need to be two holding players, skipp and Rupp, with emi in the hole? No point playing emi if you want him to drop deep, might as well play someone else - he needs to be on the ball between their midfield and defence

I think the lack of replacement for klose is a clear indicator we’re not going to play 3 at the back anyway
