Scorers - Fisk (5) & Rossi Jarvis (85)
Strong Reserve Team against were up against a very youthful Arsenal team. The Arsenal reserves were light years ahead of City in terms of skill & first touch, but faded badly in the second half and City could have nicked a win towards the end.
Plus points, the youngsters, Halliday, Spillane, played well. Cave Brown played left back and had an excellent second half. Fisk looks promising as well. Ryan Jarvis had a decent game but his finishing was not the best this evening.
Minus points - Hendo, was rubbish, apart from one fantastic cross-field pass. Constant niggle with the oppo and plenty of passes backwards. He can't blame the crowd for tonights performance. He was subbed off for Eagle who made an instant impact. Thorne looked disinterested for most of the game.
Colin was given a torrid time in the first half by Ryan Smith, the Arsenal left winger, who looks a fantastic prospect.
A cold evening and I've just about thawed out. It's very sad to say that tonight was the second best City game I've seen in 2006, only bettered by our win against Sheffield United.
Also - an apology to Patrick Bexfield who I was not very complimentary about after the Palace reserves fixture last week. He came on with 15 minutes or so to go and looked very composed today.
