Final death of football as a sport

In fairness it was killed years ago by the Prem and Sky but at least they've pretended that there was some point to playing further down the pecking order.

What they're proposing would essentially see the top six run the game with impunity - no guarantee that they wouldn't screw everyone else in short order further down the line.

To be honest, I'd say that would be guaranteed.

Not sure why the not included 11 would back this. (though the short term money bung might swing this if owners are worrying about the bottom lines)
