Yep, but the early signs are good

There's a lot of it to do with the culture of a club too.

It was clear in the preseason friendlies that a number of the young players are genuinely knocking on the door of our squad and that many will make it as pro footballers (indeed, the number we're loaning out gives a great indication of how far we've come).

Going back to the FA youth Cup winning side, there were strong players but it always looked a harder leap into playing Pro.

So while webber might not have signed the crop we're selling now, the clear path to get from promising youngster into our first team is something I think he's played a clear role in defining.
