Now as with these things Stu Webb tends to do a big old round of interviews in one go. He doesn't explicitly state the problem in this one. The years thing was like an aside in one of the others and I can't be arsed relistening.

But you can infer that his agent was after something that didn't sit well with us, Stuart says as much here.

Also, we had to activate the option to cover the Prem year. Had Todd not eventually signed he'd be a free agent now... BUT in all likelihood wouldn't have played a minute of Prem and been darned out on loan kn his option year off the back of an unexceptional Championship year where the smell on him would have been that he was rather left behind.
