to a point about agents, but unfortunately it's a necessary evil in the game these days. If they had managed to sign Cahill and maybe another of the players they were in for they would have stayed up.

That is why Dowie is splashing the cash now, as he still has some of last seasons budget available. Worthy doesn't, so has to wait and see who goes before he starts buying properly.
