Sunday Times Profit Track 100 - In with a bang at Number 8 - NCFC

Saw this in the Sunday Times. The Profit Track 100 is a list of Britains Private firms with the fastest growing profits. Looks like Norwich have finished outside the top six again!

Catering is just part of the drive towards maximising income from activities off the pitch, whether sponsorship or corporate hospitality. The club made losses in 2003 and 2004 because broadcasting income fell after ITV Digital failed. However, when the club was promoted to the Premiership in 2004 broadcasting revenues soared. This pushed up profits by 122% a year, from an annualised ?835,000 in 2002 to ?9.1m in 2005. However, profits are expected to drop next year now that the club has been relegated from the Premiership.
