We can we just need to gel the new players into the system

Yesterday I felt the problem came from the midfield 4 of McClean, Skipp, Cantwell and Dowell (while he was on). A real lack of movement and too similar players using the same areas.

I also think that yesterday showed that Cantwell isn't a 10, he just isn't inventive enough and his ball retention over the last few games has been dire. We really could have done with Stiepermann yesterday as a replacement for Dowell.

We also only won 1/3 of our aerial duels in the first half yesterday, which is frankly appalling, which was exacerbated by our desire to hump it forward regularly and Preston's tactics.
