Suspect that it's seen as a straight choice

Between Tettey and Skipp.

The dilemma being playing Tettey now for more solidity and knowhow with the team (risking bringing in Skipp later and having to get him up to speed mid-season).

Dunno if swapping in for an out of form McLean is viewed as even vaguely an option.

I'd assume these are the decisions and permutations they play with in training.

But yep, the lack of Tettey's calm and understanding and reading of the game is one of the things that are having to be adjusted.

For me, I'd have Tettey when fit as a must starter.
