The problem is the lack of a right winger...

...Hughes offered nothing going forwards yesterday, and whenever Fleming had the ball he was running back into almost a right-back slot to collect when there was tens of yards of empty pitch ahead of him.

Colin had the same problem - unless there's a runner in front of you, the only pass you've got on is a hoof towards the front two or a safe but crowd-frustrating pass back to your keeper or centre-half.

A decent right-winger in the side would have seen us get the best out of Jurgen Colin. A right-side of a starting eleven would have offered us another attacking option (it's frightening to see how many times our players look out to play a ball to the right before realising there is nothing there!), and a balanced side would threaten teams a lot more than we have managed to do this season.

Four goalkeepers in the squad, yet not one right-sided midfielder - there really is no excuse for it.
