Course they have

Plenty of white travellers cop it for their culture, to give an obvious example - but really it's all about social class. People like to feel superior to other people. Terms like chav, scally, whatever are used to put people down for where they're from or how they talk. Add in "fear of The Other" and a desire to blame some group of someone else for the fact one's own life is a bit s**t and all sorts of nasty stuff comes out.
