Yes.

But I'm open to my opinion being changed. Why do people reply so rudely/bluntly online, always wanting a fight lol. It really isn't how you educate or change peoples minds.

As outlined elsewhere with specific timescales and the dates of the sage meeting, I'm not sure any government could have or even should have reacted differently. They seemingly followed scientific advice from the facts I can find.

Ultimately it seems if you want to blame anyone, then blame sage. Even then, I have a touch of compassion for them as "the government" and "sage" aren't some all-knowing entity - they are a collection of human beings trying to figure out what to do in unprecedented times & having the same problems we deal with on top of that.
