It’s as much about the hyperbole with which they trail things

Testing didn’t hit the targets for ages yet they demonstrably lied to say it had.

Boris said we’d send it packing In 12 weeks. Was never going to happen.

It’d be over - near enough - by Christmas. Never going to happen.

World beating test track and trace by June. Didn’t happen - as it was probably very difficult to do.

Game-changing app. Scrapped because it didn’t work, which Apple had already told them it wouldn’t. Some other countries do have apps that work.

Now this moonshot thing that’ll mean we can all live normal lives. One, it’s HUGELY expensive, two, it’s totally unproven and three, it’s highly unlikely to be accurate enough to do what they say it will - free is all.

Just stop over-promising and get the basics right FFS. And this isn’t an anti-Tory thing, it’s just facts.
