I also happen to agree with you that there are some things that this government have done well re COVID (i.e. the furlough scheme in principal, although I'm less convinced by the manner in which it was withdrawn & replaced with the £1k employer's incentive). Generally speaking however, I don't think this government has performed anywhere the level it should have done since the last GE and it is for that reason that I consider it to be incompetent.
