Help Needed! Germany info required!

I'm going to Sweden V England in Cologne, got my match tickets and train tickets to get over there, but as I only discovered today that I could def go, havent booked accomodation yet.

Obviously everywhere in Cologne is booked...so I was wondering where is nearby that has good transport links etc.

Also, is their a website that has travel details?
Are buses and trains easy to use in Germany?

I can't bloody wait!
