The reasons the manager gets the blame and not the players

1 - He buys them, they are HIS players

2 - He picks who should play

3 - He coaches them

4 - He tells them the tactics for the match

5 - He motivates them

6 - The buck stops with him because, as his title suggests, he is the MANAGER, in all proffesions it is the same, supermarkets, offices, factories etc. Football is no different in that respect.

I agree that the players have not performed but dont you think this is cause they are sick of playing under him? Unmotivated, under confident, pissed off and going through the motions. The only players who want him to stay are the ones who are on a cushy little number and may find themselves out of the team and job if a new manager came in.
