Hi everyone, this is my first post so go easy on me. Seem to remember the club stating quite clearly that worthy did have money to spend regardless of selling anyone. If we haven't got money to spend I for one will be massively surprised and disappointed. Two seasons ago we lost out on Hulse and O Connor cos West Brom we were told had the luxury of the money from the parachute payments to give them more financial muscle than us. Are we not in the position they were 2 years ago? If palace can afford to spend without selling then why can't we. If it transpires that we have no money to spend then the board will have much to answer for imo. There is normally money set aside for a transfer budget so why should this season be any different? Still if we had spent a bit more and actually believed we could survive rather than hoped we would maybe things would have been different.
