If Helveg goes, then so be it. In conclusion to his time at Carra, I thought he was a serious let-down considering his experience at top level. Granted, he got it together towards the end of the season, but more grit and less sulking was required during the early and middle sections of the campaign.
It just seems that all the media reports are about players leaving us, and very little about who we may recruit. I for one am concerned, to say the least at the number of players who are "allegedly" open to pastures new. Surely with that attitude, their committment to City will be less than what is required?
I'm beginning to understand why relegated clubs struggle to bounce back quickly. We clearly need to rebuild with fresh, hungry faces and only keep the existing staff who truly want to play for our club and give it their best effort. Sadly, I don't see much enthusiasm on the transfer front. I can only hope Worthy has a cunning plan.........
