now i'm just fed up with their disruptive behaviour. For most of the demonstrators, it's just an excuse to skive off, drink a few beers, be noisy and get a bit violent with no repercussions.

The strikes cause everyone serious problems (for example a colleague of mine had to stay in a hotel overnight because there were no trains, and another had to leave at 3 in the morning to get to Paris for a meeting at 9) and rarely achieve anything.

we should congratulate ourselves in britain on being able to sort a lot of things out without resorting to such childish behaviour.
