Politically we're pretty similar, so I took a bit of a flyer on that one

We look at the bastards who run the world (or even locally) and know we'd do things differently and better, but also know that you really do have to be a c**t to do the job. Never let the people who want power have it.

I wonder on the bettering yourself (for want of a better expression) theme whether because of what you've already achieved fighting a debilitating illness that you'll ever be completely satisfied; nothing will ever quite match that. Does that make sense? Or have I overstepped my Analyst skills?
