Sounds like from your other posts that you've decided what you want to do in the short term, but it does sound like you're hankering after something more challenging for the long term - and I'm not sure it's necessarily related to the job. I can't helping feeling you'll breeze through NVQs and still feel somewhat unsatisfied, so maybe, ultimately, you should look at a part-time degree or similar. Or get involved in local politics - be right up your street and you'd be good at it I reckon, although something tells me you wouldn't countenance the compromises that would inevitably entail.

I dunno, mate, I'm just a lazy, unambitious f**ker who's happened to stumble into a career that I like, that I'm pretty good at and paid well for (IT for what it's worth) and don't really have the inclination to extend myself further.
