Amina are long-time contributors of Sigur Ros - female fourpiece. They often play the string parts of Sigur Ros live - either them or, I think, the Kronos Quartet.

They play Sigur-Rossy plinky plony stuff using a vast array of instruments - violin, cello, xylophone, glockenspiel, some sort of organ, samplers, laptops, one bird plays the saw (tremendous) on a coupl eof tracks, and an oriental sounding plinky string instrument I couldn't name for the life of me.
