There are various things that could benefit him,

for example, he would be playing with better players, be training with better coaches and would know he has to fight and be at his sharpest to get into the team. At Norwich he is pretty much guaranteed his place in the side and his lack of decisiveness may well come down to the fact he is playing behind an average, if not poor, defence. Not having full confidence in those in front of you will cause you to make irrational decisions because you don't have a clue what the rest are going to do.
