Well then if our stats stay better now must be due to all that hand washing

Or luck.

Or demographics.

Or the fact they have lots of elderly relatives living in the sane households as their families.

Or the NHS coping slightly better (so far).

Or they won’t stay better abd it’s just wishful thinking on my part.
