I simply don;t think its fairer to end the season now with places standing than void it. I

agree (as I've said below) in legal terms voiding is clearly the safest option for the league.

I don't see how you can relegate 3 teams from the premier league without the fixtures concluding.

The teams going for promotion might whinge but I don't see that they have a legal case as none of them have actually guaranteed promotion yet.

There is a consistency there and it doesn't leave the Premier League open to hundreds of millions in compensation.
