A lot of salt intake is in processed foods and prepared meals.

It’s hidden and therefore hard to tell how much you’re having. Cooking and eating as much as possible from scratch means you can easily control how much salt, sugar and other s**t goes in. Plus you can actually taste it as well.

But everyone knows that already; the difficulty is managing time and resources to enable it.
