Premier League defences are much more ruthless / cynical.

Looking at some of the goals from last season it strikes me a lot of Premier League defences would have committed fouls way before the chances happened.

This, I think, is partly why watching Championship football can seem more enjoyable when your team is involved. More chances created, less cynical fouling, not to mention a higher chance of scoring because of the standard of goalkeeper.
