I looked at all options, Hybrids not good for higher speeds, latest so called eco petrols struggled to get over 40mpg (Octavia & insignia) and the only full electrics that have the range i need have either an 18 month waiting list9 Kia Niro) or are pricey (Tesla 3), so i've ordered a 2.0l diesel, the bigger engine is more efficient on faster roads as its not working so hard.
