Is there a more uninspiring example of the modern footballer than Dominic Solanke? He’s earned millions and been sold for ridiculous fees and offers literally nothing. I’d rather have Alex Notman back than have him in my team.

For the record, I liked Notman, but goals as a striker weren’t his thing.
