Banana is also bad for you at breakfast (look it up)
As well they are 80kcals
Toast is 100kcals. So you've eaten 180kcals and it's not that filling.

Depends on the sandwich you eat. If it's one you made it's going to be something like 300-350.
If you bought it, it's going to be about 450.

I'm guessing any evening meal is around 800 to 1000 kcals.

So you're having 1700 ish cals a day. You should lose weight over time, but not quickly.

I don't like breakfast, so I put 2 mini waffles in the toaster and eat them whilst swallowing vitamin pills

For lunch at work I have a bowl heated up from frozen which has chorizo, chicken, rice and frozen veggies (and some chilli powder sprinkled in)

That's 180kcals, and I don't mind it every day. (I know because I measure out 1 microwave rice to 8 bowls, same with 1kg frozen veg, and same with chorizo and chicken.

Which therefore means I've only eaten 280kcals by 5pm, where as you have eaten 530.

If I have an evening meal of 1000kcals, I'm ending the day on 1300 and will lose weight quicker.

If you want a couple of suggestions for low cal foods

Mini yorkshire puds, grated cheese and tomato puree. 100 kcals each (110/120 if you add a meat topping) Substitute for pizza, cook 5 instead of a full pizza.

Satay chicken skewers frozen? about 30 kcals a skewer
