Daniel Farke addresses the media ahead of Norwich City's FA Cup fourth round tie at Burnley. Updates to come from 1.15pm.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
DF: It's always important to be honest with the players. It was a fantastic away performance and we looked like winning in the second half. We are proud, but sadly it had the wrong outcome.
DF: We want to be as successful as we can in the cup. It's the third game in seven days with a quick turnaround. There was no proper sleep for the players after investing a lot at Spurs. I expect more changes tomorrow to bring fresh energy onto the pitch because we want to go into the next round.
DF: We have to deliver a top class performance. Burnley are on fire and are an established Premier League side. Afterwards, it will be a normal week with time to recover. We're tempted not to risk inuries, but we want to win.
DF: I don't expect any business between now and the end of the window.
DF: We made improvements with Ondrej Duda and Lukas Rupp. Stuart Webber is doing a fantastic job.
DF: I love Todd and Max and I see their potential but they have to develop. They have to learn to make the right decisions so there is space for improvement. They're at the right club at the moment.
DF: The rules of Financial Fair Play are a bit more strict now, which might explain fewer transfers in January. Clubs have been successful without spending that much money which is proof it can happen.
DF: It makes no sense just to bring another body in. It would have in August until December when we had injuries at centre-back and striker, but now it doesn't make sense. I don't expect another loan.
DF: I'm not willing to give one striker away because all it takes is one injury. You need at least three to be competitive at this level. Adam Idah is in my thoughts for tomorrow but Teemu and Josip are available too. We want to travel with our strongest squad.
DF: We support young players a lot but it's not like because you are young you will play. You have to convince me in every training session.
DF: Buendia has no chance for tomorrow but could be available for the Newcastle game. Hopefully he's available because he was in fantastic shape.
DF: Ralf Fahrmann is back in the mix, so if I have to think about resting players it might be Tim Krul.
DF: Todd Cantwell isn't available as he had some hamstring problems. Nothing too serious. Kenny McLean got a knock on his hip and we have to wait and see on that. Ibrahim Amadou has a slight knee problem so question marks on those. Mario Vrancic is alright.
DF: Burnley are brave and intense in their pressing at home. They're full of physicality. We have to take to the battle as they will be direct and strong in set pieces, so we need to dominate possession to keep them away from our goal.
DF: Each good performance and result is good for confidence. It's different to the league because we don't have the pressure of winning points. Tomorrow is more about not losing.
DF: We can go into the fifth round. It's unrealistic to speak about winning the FA Cup but we want to be as successful as we can.
DF: In football there is no right or wrong way of being successful, so I'm respectful [of how Burnley beat Manchester United].
DF: When you see them playing you see a clear identity and philosophy. It doesn't have to be the same style of other clubs. I like when you see the handwriting of a coach and Sean Dyche has done a fantastic job for Burnley.
DF: It's important to have the whole group in their rhythm, but we want to go to the next round regardless of who plays. If we make changes it's because there's lots of competition and they have more energy.
