We're probably the best, most competitive team to ever be this far adrift in the PL era, which is damning with faint praise I know, but since we've 'deserved' better so far, it's not that big a turnaround to actually win a few.

I think that the worst thing about this season so far has been the feeling that with the odd bounce here or VAR actually making the right call there we'd be mid-table and safe.
