Am I the only one who thinks our dealings this window are taking the piss

The Premier league is a product, supposedly delivering the best football. However NCFC have come along and are seemingly accepting relegation and using the PL proceeds to prop up an otherwise unsustainable model. Nearly every match we could have got more points from with a bot more quality, and we have known about our positional weaknesses (cb and striker)since last season.I understand the need to give those who got us promoted a chance, but what we are bringing in is not addressing those problems. Surely with all the saleable assets we have if we do go down , it’s worth the risk of pushing the boat out a bit ?
