Whole season has just been frustrating and disappointing

What makes it doubly frustrating is that we are so close to being good enough and aside from Man U and Villa at home and maybe Burnley away we could quite easily have won almost every game we’ve had.

In pretty much all of them we’ve had spells of dominance where we’ve had chances and been wasteful. In pretty much all of them we’ve gifted the opposition soft goals out of nowhere. Nearly every goal we concede is either from a set price or is giving the ball away in our own half needlessly or carelessly. So many could have been avoided.

I don’t think Farke has ever quite worked out the midfield (still don’t now) and for me his tactical approach and game management has been a real disappointment. He’s a great coach who improves our players and has us playing attractive, technically good football but he’s been out managed quite often this season and failed to make changes when we’ve needed them.

The recruitment has been frustratingly poor. The attitude of the board and club frustratingly lacking in ambition and the thought of this talented side being broken up is also frustrating. Other results going against us every f**king week is frustrating.

And yet at times we have done and continue to play some lovely football that is great to watch.

Overall I think the main frustration is just seeing ourselves bang our head on that glass ceiling!
