Press news in....

Daniel Farke addresses the media ahead of Norwich City v AFC Bournemouth. Updates to come from 1.15pm.

--------------------------------------------------------------

DF: We play in order to win and don't care too much about the table. Bournemouth are a decent side.

DF: We had a tough first day at Liverpool and a tough 22nd day at Manchester United, as well as one at home to Aston Villa in our injury crisis.

DF: In the ten games before the United game, we either won, drew or lost by only one goal so we've shown we're competitive.

DF: I wouldn't label one game as easy or winnable. We always have to be at our best level to have a chance.

DF: It's always important to be defensively solid. We have to be brave and calm our nerves down. Finding that balance will be key tomorrow.

DF: You wouldn't expect Bournemouth to be in this position, but they have a top coach who has done a fantastic job over the years. Even they can struggle when small margins make a huge difference.

DF: A victory is always good for the confidence and the table, but if you then lose the next game everything goes down. We need to win seven of our last 16. It's a huge task but one we want to fulfill.

DF: Sunderland beat the top sides in the Premier League in 2014 and closed the gap. Everything is possible. Our situation is difficult but we're in an easier situation than them so we have a chance.

DF: No problem with Grant Hanley. He's also ready to go as is Josip Drmic.

DF: It was important to bring quality and options in. It's not healthy to have few options. It's important to have competition.

DF: We had our centre-backs injured after the August transfer window closed and we couldn't do anything. It's now the middle of January and our defenders are fit. Timm Klose isn't too far away now either, so we're covered.

DF: Pukki, Drmic and Idah are available. Three players for one position, so we are covered for defenders and strikers. We were weak on the winger positions and full back positions.

DF: Rupp has played recently as a winger or full back, so he can cover both positions. He will also help us in the centre inthe mid to long-term with Alex Tettey and Mario Vrancic.

DF: I love my players and always back them but we've played three players so far in the number ten role and have one goal - Kenny McLean against Man City when he was playing holding midfield. We needed to improve the end product, so we brought Ondrej Duda in.

DF: Lukas is a perfect fit for now and the long-term. No-one can predict if Ondrej will be world class for us, we can't guarantee he knows the league like James Maddison, so we have to be creative. Duda has potential to bring us what we need, if it works out great for him and us, if not we haven't risked the future of the club by spending lots of money on him.

DF: We wanted to bring experienced players in, not 18-year-olds. Lukas is in good physical shape but can't be fully adapted having only been here a few days. He and Ondrej are both fit and available for tomorrow.

DF: It's healthy for the team as we think we have a proper group. There was quality and intensity in the training this week with four centre-backs and three strikers available. Unbelievable competition.

DF: We will do everything to work on the miracle of staying in the league. Big compliments to Stuart Webber for bringing these two players in.

DF: If we win all our home games it will be enough. Our supporters can bring us over the line, but we need one or two on the road as well. Regardless of the opposition, we want to win every game.

DF: Eddie Howe is a top coach who will have a great career. He has all the ability to bring Bournemouth to a brighter future. But it's normal when you don't look into things deeply to ask questions about the manager.

DF: You're often judged by results, so it's not normal to have the unbelievable backing I have. It's tough for fans to wait for a win. To celebrate with the manager after a 4-0 loss isn't normal, so I'm unbelievably thankful and grateful to them.

DF: The fans love this club so much and have so much passion. They deserve us to surprise the whole world and work on another miracle after last season.

DF:We remain greedy. My team and I are more Greedy than Mr Greedy, living at 1 Greed avenue, Greed common, Greed, GR1 EED.
