If you're into art I'd suggest the sainsbury centre for visual art.

The forum is nifty and the outdoor market and lanes are interesting (though the outdoor market still seems to be a bit strange since they turned it into a grid of mini lockups...)

If the weather is okay and you're going further afield I like Wells (for the coast)

There's also Pensthorpe, which is nifty if you like bird watching (still nifty if you don't...) good playground for kids too...

Waffle house. Castle. Carrow Road for a match.
